This includes researchers involved in experiment, theory and computer simulations to achieve a systemic understanding of the connections between the <b>structures<\/b>, <b>properties <\/b>and <b>applications <\/b>of all types of <b>polymers<\/b>. This has and continues to be an underlying theme of this conference series. Both chemistry and physics play a key role in all topic aspects. The planned 2024 POLY-CHAR conference will also be based on the underlying theme of \u2018<b><i>Polymers for our future<\/i><\/b>\u2019, to help promote cross-discipline understanding between the classical branches of polymer science and some of the more avant-garde fields. It should also be noted that a good balance between gender, and senior and young scientists has and will be sought throughout both the organization and duration of the conference. One of the features of the program will be the \u2018flash presentation\u2019 sessions, in which brilliant researchers in the early stages of their career will be given the opportunity to present Photochemistry","description":"<p>The 29<sup>th<\/sup>\u00a0IUPAC Symposium on Photochemistry will bring scientists and engineers from all over the world with expertise in photochemistry, i.e., whose work involves the interactions of light and matter in a broad sense. Started now almost sixty years ago and running every other year with a brief hiatus during the COVID pandemic, this 29<sup>th<\/sup>\u00a0edition will tackle contemporary issues and highlight cutting edge methodologies and new theoretical and experimental developments. The conference themes will span from light energy conversion, of relevance to sustainable energy, to green synthetic methods based on photocatalysis, to the study of the reactive intermediates involved, the development and use of new sensors in materials and biomedical sciences, new photochemical and photophysical properties of nanomaterials, the theoretical underpinnings behind the experimental observations and the associated experimental methods of studies, spanning from ultrafast to single molecule techniques to new emergent modalities. This meeting will also portray new developments of relevance to biomedical sciences, both in the form of new sensors and imaging modalities including super resolution imaging methods, but also through The main purposes of the Conferences on Isoprenoids throughout these sixty years have been to promote research in the isoprenoid field at the interface of chemistry, biology, and medicine, with a great attention to industrial applications. The role of science is to contribute to the human progress and to overcome barriers. To this aim, the Isoprenoid conferences facilitate the networking and cooperation between researchers from different countries and provide a forum for the exchange of knowledge among scientists at all career stages in a friendly environment.<\/p>\n<p>All the previous Conferences in this series have been organized in Eastern Europe countries; thus, this is the first time that Italy hosts this event.
